CagriSema combines the amylin analogue cagrilintide with the GLP-1 analogue semaglutide, intended for controlled in-vitro research, comparative signalling studies and analytical compatibility assessment.
Both components carry a fatty-acid conjugation but differ in chain length and linker chemistry, so despite their similar general character they show distinct retention times on reversed-phase HPLC and can be resolved separately. Identity and purity are determined independently for each component, by MS and chromatography respectively.
A purity specification of ≥99% (HPLC) applies to both components; the batch certificate of analysis records these values per component and is available for the product on request.
